OBTAIN MORTGAGE PRE-APPROVAL

Before you start the process, you need to know your financial options. If you need one, we can recommend a lender to assist you in obtaining a mortgage and a pre-approval.

CHOOSE A HOMESITE AND A PLAN

Ernest Homes has a beautiful collection of plans and communities to choose from. Our New Home Consultants can help you personalize any plan to better fit your needs.

SIGN PURCHASE AGREEMENT

After you select your Ernest home, we enter into a purchase agreement. From this point on, we get started on home site layout and preparations.

SECURE FINANCING

Once you have signed the purchase agreement, you will finalize your financing details.

DESIGN STUDIO SELECTION PROCESS

This is the fun part! You’ll meet with our Design Consultant in our exclusive Design Studio, and pick out all the personal touches for your new home.

PLANS DRAWN / ENGINEERING, PERMITTING, & ESTIMATING

Our team now has everything needed to start building your new home, including personalized plans, construction permits and scheduling.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING

You will review all plans and selections with your Project Manager and New Home Consultant while discussing build progress and expectations.

CONSTRUCTION BEGINS

Your Project Manager and New Home Consultant will communicate with you throughout the construction process and invite you to tour your new home during construction.

QUALITY CONTROL

Before new home orientation, we conduct multiple check points and perform quality control tasks and inspections to ensure your new home is as perfect as possible.
